In the UK alone it is estimated that more than 30 million empty ink cartridges are thrown away each year. Ink cartridge recycling decreases the amount of solid waste that is put into our landfills and helps solve many environmental issues.

Join Our Ink Cartridge Recycling Program Today!

Our ink cartridge recycling program is beneficial to both you and the environment. The ink cartridge recycling program is free to join and we pay for the collection costs. You are rewarded with a credit note for each empty inkjet cartridge that we receive from you for recycling. We currently allow up to £3.50 credit for each empty ink cartridge you return to us.

Ink Cartridge Recycling Program - How Does It Work?

1. Start Collecting Your Empty Ink Cartridges.

Start by asking all your friends and colleagues to stop throwing away all there empty ink cartridges. Find an empty box and simply ask them to save each empty ink cartridge as they replace them.

Please Note:

For administration purposes we require a minimum of 5 empty ink cartridges per collection.

2. Pack Your Empty Ink Cartridges.

Once you have accumulated a minimum of 5 empty ink cartridges, carefully pack your ink cartridges to avoid damage during transit.

3. Include Your Details.

Please include the following details with your empties:-
• Contact Name.
• Your full address.
• An email address.
• Telephone number.
• A list (including quantities) of the empties being returned.

4. Between 5 and 25 Empty Ink Cartridges To Return?

If you have between 5 & 25 empty ink cartridges to return for recycling,simply hand write our Freepost address on the packet or box containing the cartridges and drop it off at your nearest post office. There are no forms to fill in and no payment for postage is required.

5. More Than 25 Empty Ink Cartridges To Return?

If you have more than 25 empty ink cartridges to return, please contact us and we will arrange for a carrier to call and collect the empty cartridges from you. Again there are no forms to complete and no payment for this service is required.

6.Credit Notes.

Upon receipt of your empties, our warehouse staff will process the goods and a credit note will be raised. A copy of this credit note will be sent to you. Once you have received your credit note, you will then be able to redeem your credit amount against your next purchase from Box-Shift.
